Newsletter

Description: I created a classroom newsletter in Microsoft Word to communicate with parents and also to serve as an example to students for making their own newsletters. I used Microsoft Word because it is a program that most people have. Using the tables function, I created a custom masthead to fit the theme of my classroom and also used scanning to upload a custom image.
NETS-T 1: The newsletter that I created addresses the NETS-T 1 standard--Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity. Specifically, section a: promote, support, and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness; and section b: promote student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes.
